Mask-Off's_Protex 223-5 Polyester Protective Film
Protex 223-5 is a 5 mil protective polyester film coated with a very high tack pressure sensitive adhesive.

AEROSPACE APPLICATION
Protex 223-5 can be applied to aluminum, stainless steel, or non-metallic floor panels around galley and lavatory areas on many types of aircraft to prevent water damage, oxidation, or corrosion of the metal. It is an excellent protective material for aircraft windows during stripping operations. Furthermore, Protex 223-5 can be applied to one side of fiber impregnated aluminum honeycomb core material to hold in place on a vacuum table for milling the opposite side.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Protex 223-5 has high tensile, tear, and impact strength. It is inert in water, moisture resistant, and is unaffected by oils, greases, and volatile aromatics. A release liner makes Protex 223-5 easy to use in wide rolls (up to 60") and opens the possibility of die-cutting.
